Mergenet Medical, Inc. is an
innovative, technology-driven medical device company that develops and
commercializes products for the respiratory care market; both therapeutic
and diagnostic devices. Established in 2004, the company’s current product
pipeline includes:
wHiFLO2™, a line of non-invasive ventilatory support systems
that deliver warm humidified respiratory gases and are capable of delivering
100% oxygen to a patient without requiring a face mask. The
HiFLO2™
products deliver conditioned gases through a comfortable nasal cannula at
flow rates from 1 l/min for pre-mature infants up to 40 l/min for adults.
The
HiFLO2™ Responz™ establishes a
new paradigm in non-invasive ventilation through its state of the art
pressure feedback control of gas flow, and control of temperature, humidity,
and oxygen. The current global market for such non-invasive ventilatory
support systems is well over $2 Billion and is expected to exceed $4 billion
within the next 5 years.
wTrach-Assist™ and the ET Guard™, are innovative
disposable devices designed to help the clinician manage secretions produced
by intubated patients and reduce the incidence of Ventilator Associated
Pneumonia (VAP), and adds to patient comfort. VAP is one of the major
hospital acquired infections (HAI) . The mandate for reduction and control
of HAI represents a U.S. Market segment exceeding $2 Billion a year. These
products have been granted 510(k) clearance by the FDA.
wCPeX™, a cardiopulmonary diagnostics platform, for use by primary
care physicians. This interpretive diagnostic device allows for diagnosis
and differentiation of cardiac and pulmonary diseases. CPeX™
represents our entry into diagnostic devices, which are designed to enhance
the armamentarium of clinicians in caring for their patients, saving limited
health care dollars and providing income for the physician.
Mergenet Medical has a team of experienced engineers and inventors as well
as a growing portfolio of issued & pending patents. The company has well
established global relationships with several Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000
healthcare companies. In addition, it has access to sell its products
through a network of distributors, independent manufacturers’
representatives, and direct sales representatives.
