NEW ORLEANS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Innomed Technologies, Inc., a Boca Raton based medical technology
company for the respiratory and sleep apnea markets, is proud to
introduce the FDA approved Nasal Aire(TM) interface this October
23rd at Med Trade 2001 in New Orleans - booth 778. Med Trade is the
world's largest home health care exhibition. This will be the first
time the public will be able to review the highly anticipated Nasal
Aire(TM) device.
Innomed Technologies, Inc. also announced that clinical trials for
the Nasal Aire(TM) are complete, with further testing scheduled for
early next year. Patrick Karem, president of Innomed Technologies,
Inc. was quoted as saying, "We felt that the clinical results from
the Nasal Aire(TM) were nothing short of spectacular. Independent
studies have shown that when patients are given a choice between
using the Nasal Aire(TM) or the 3 leading competitive masks,
manufactured by Resmed, Inc. (RMD) and Respironics (RESP), 98% of
the time the Nasal Aire(TM) was chosen. That's impressive. We are
also hearing from clinicians conducting the trials that they are
able to titrate patients with less pressure, that there are trace
amounts of or zero leakage. Also, CO2 retention appears to be the
lowest of any device. We are very pleased with these results and
they show the medical community just how well this innovative
product works."
Innomed Technologies, Inc. will also be showing the NASAL AIRE(TM)
at the AARC meeting in San Antonio in early December.
