ABC News (abcnews.com)
InnoMed Technologies, Inc., announced
today that in just over three months the company has signed
agreements with 800 sleep disorder treatment facilities in the
United States. In addition, the company's staff has grown by 45% and
its distributor sales force has increased by 18% to support its
Nasal Aire(R) Interface sales since January of this year.
"The success of the Nasal Aire(R) has reached beyond the U.S. and
the company is shipping devices to 10 foreign countries, has
agreements with three foreign distributors, and has vastly expanded
its manufacturing facilities," said InnoMed Technologies CEO R.
Patrick Karem. "We are selling an enormous amount of product because
acceptance of the Nasal Aire(R) Interface is nothing short of
phenomenal. I have personally been approached by a number of mask
users who have thrown their old masks away due to the discomfort and
are very pleased with the Nasal Aire(R). Nothing has been more
gratifying than receiving such positive feedback from patients."
Karem went on to state, "At this time, InnoMed's market share
potential is unlimited. We have achieved all this in a very short
period of time despite negative comments similar to ones made by an
executive of a competitor company on May 2nd."
InnoMed Technologies' success is built by its experienced personnel,
composed of top industry management, sales and technical people, as
well as its Medical Advisory Board of over 170 medical doctors.
Independent clinical trials were conducted last year for the NASAL
AIRE(R) Interface which showed that when patients are given a choice
between using the NASAL AIRE(R) Interface or the three leading
competitive masks, manufactured by Resmed, Inc. (NYSE:RMD) and
Respironics (Nasdaq:RESP), and Mallinckrodt, 98% of the time the
NASAL AIRE(R) Interface was chosen.
