Monday, December 08, 2003

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InnoMed Technologies introduced two new CPAP devices today at the American Association for Respiratory Care Conference, being held in Las Vegas today and tomorrow. InnoMed's critical care division unveiled to the public its Nasal-Aire Critical Care device for use in hospital and critical care environments. Based on the highly successful Nasal-Aire CPAP interface, the new device is a disposable unit which is expected to garner a large portion of the critical care CPAP and non-invasive ventilation market its first year out.

Additionally, the 'Nasal-Pap,' a compact and comfortable interface developed to complement InnoMed's line of 'state of the art' CPAP therapy devices, was also unveiled.

'These two new devices demonstrate that InnoMed's engineering and design capabilities are at the forefront of the sleep and critical care respiratory industries,' said InnoMed C.E.O., Patrick Karem. 'We are pleased that these new designs will not only make InnoMed's customers lives happier and healthier, but will also spur innovation in the industry as a whole.'
