RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Teleflex Medical
announced today the launch of the Bravo™ nasal pillow mask for use
with sleep therapy systems in the treatment of obstructive sleep
apnea (OSA). Featuring an ergonomic, lightweight design, the Bravo
successfully combines comfort, quality and versatility by providing
an exceptionally quiet sleep experience, interchangeable nasal
pillows, and the flexibility of multiple sleeping positions. The
sleek, ergonomic design of the Bravo produces a higher level of
comfort for the sleep apnea patient, promoting greater acceptance
and compliance.
“Teleflex Medical is pleased to add the Bravo nasal pillow mask to
our OSA product portfolio. The addition of the Bravo reinforces our
strategy of becoming a leader in the sleep therapy market by
offering cutting edge, innovative solutions that address the unmet
needs of the sleep apnea patient,” said Tim Hopper, VP/General
Manager of the Medical Products business unit, Teleflex Medical.
The Bravo joins Teleflex Medical’s existing family of Hybrid™ and
Nasal-Aire® II sleep therapy interfaces. The Hybrid interface is a
unique fusion of technologies designed to be a universal interface
for patients, clinicians and providers. The Hybrid serves as a nasal
interface, an oral interface, and a combination of the two. Its
proprietary design enhances patient comfort and compliance by
eliminating pressure points on the forehead and across the bridge of
the nose. The Nasal Aire II features an innovative design that
looks, wears and feels like an oversized oxygen cannula. This
product is available in standard and petite sizes, making it
suitable for a wide range of patients.
